The End of the weekEND!

I sit here at the end of the weekend and the clock has just struck 7.40 pm and i have just finished my first full week in India and Asia! It has been a tumultuous week in my life as there have been a lot of ups and downs in both the surrounding and in myself with a constant relapse of homesickness lurking behind the corners at the start of this trip. I must however say that the feeling of homeickness have been coming less and less as i have become more and more settled into the surrounding that i have put myself in, something which makes me feel more stable!
So so far i must say that i have been through a lot and that means that i must be doing something which also means that im experiencing something! Therefore i must conclude that i have gotten off to a good but rocky start on this legendary adventure which will carry me around the planet we call earth ; )!

Now for those that are wondering what i have done during the weekend, here is a list:
Saturday:
Woke up and ate breakfast
watched some TV, read digital fortress
Walked into Palampur and got an indian Sim card and ate at Joys(the only semi similar thing to a cafe)
Walked back, sat in the sun and read then had dinner and watched seabiscuit!
Sunday:
Woke up later and had breakfast
Read then showered
Greeted the 6 new volunteers that came(4 UK girls and 1 German, 1 UK boy)
Went into town and strolled around for Moms birthday present
Called and greeted mom on her 51st birthday! LOVE YOU MOM ; )
came back and chilled, played some cards
Had dinner and am now typing this as i wait to watch the Man U vs. Chelsea game... Never miss a game ; )

So There you have it fellow readers that have stuck with me this far! Its been exciting but there is more to come so stay tuned!
All the best
