So yesterday I think I stretched my legs beyond its supposed normalcy limit, I mean legs aren't supposed to be disjointed like that...
I guess putting it in a more frank way, this whole martial arts and taekwondo adventure is proving to have a few obstacles embedded in it! Kind of makes you feel like your in a movie! You know white boy goes to asia, meets a master of the arts who is extremely wise and looks like Bruce Lee and pushes him to the limit in the process of defeating some eveil kid with a black and much cooler suit than the one that the good guy has... you all know what I mean! No but honstley, the worst thing isn't the whole physical aspect of the sport but the embaracing feeling it brings you when you mess up for everyone to see! For example yesterday, we stood in rows in a squating position practising punshes while yealling "Huuuh!" in unison... and what happens, everyone stops except for me, standing strong while continuing to do the punches and yealling "Huuuh!" in a way that would make the williams sisters proud!.... To say the least, not my finest hour!
On another note as far as activities goes, tomorrow is my first practise with the bouldering(climbing) team which will definetly be an interesting thing to see how it goes! It is almost as if I want to put myself in a tight spot because I think I have picked two of the sports which my body is not coordinated enough to do! But then again what fun would anything be if you were already good at it! I just hope I manage to get the basics so I have something to build on when I get back to sweden : ) It is like with most things these days and that is to try something new and have the guts to stick with it! I guess we'll see where i'm at in two weeks after the ultimate taekwondo challenge where they supposedly push your body to the limit for 1 full day.... should be interesting!
Cheers
